This is the real NHRA Hall of Fame King & Marshall Top Fuel Front Engine Dragster

Originally owned & operated by the legendary team of Jimmy King & Don Marshall of Rhode Island

Currently owned & operated by Ray Helger of Helger Bros. Speed Shop, Little Compton RI 

Voted one of the top ten Top Fuel Dragsters in the United States in 1971 - Winner of the 1971 NHRA Gator Nationals, AHRA Grand American Races & many other races all over the country. Has recently been on display at the Northeast Motor Sports Museum in Louden, NH. Participated in numerous Nostalgia Race Events, Reunions, Cackle Fest and Fundraisers in the US over the last several years.

​This is the genuine race car that has been restored not reproduced. 

The historic dragster always runs and performs flawlessly and is very well known and admired among drag racing fans up and down the East Coast!  Much press coverage from the past and recent years can be found on the internet, including action footage. It is true running legacy to the sport of Drag Racing, not to mention previous owners, driver and tuners, the late Jimmy King and Don Marshall.

Engine is a 440 ci. raised block Chrysler V8. It has domed pistons, solid lifter camshaft, adjustable roller rockers, port and polished Stage V Cylinder Heads. Cross Ram Intake with dual 600 cfm Holley Carbs. Dual Point Distributor, home built headers and a genuine Moon Fuel tank.

1928  Ford

Model A Tudor Sedan

Vintage Hot Rod

~ Featured in Hot Rod Magazine April 2017 ~

​​Built between 1960-1965 for street and strip racing from a rust free, genuine Henry Ford Tudor Sedan body with NOS fenders.

Custom Candy Blue paint job was completed in 1965.

It has a beautiful vintage patina.

Interior is black diamond tuck and roll with competition roll bar..

Instrumentation all Stuart Warner.

Car rolls on the original American Racing Magnesium 5 spoke wheels with M&H Racemaster Piecrust Slicks.

Front suspension is a 1940 Ford I-beam Axle with split wishbone and 48 Ford brakes.

Rear end is a 57-64 Olds/ Pontiac Posi-Traction with 4-56 gears and a ladder bar suspension.

Transmission is a heavy duty synchronized 3-speed by Chrysler that is genuine max wedge as is the Hurst Shifter with handle turned backwards for clearance.

This car is not restored, it is a true time capsule.  It is a real, genuine, original Hot Rod from the 1960's.  It is loud, fast and definitely an attention getter!
